NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
NORTH & SOUTH BROADWAY MASTERPLAN AND IMPROVEMENTS
MONDAY, DECEMBER 15TH, 2008
2:00 P.M. TO 4:00 P.M.
CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS
100 N. COURT ST.
A PUBLIC INFORMATION SESSION will be held on Monday December 15th, 2008 from 2:00
pm until 4:00 pm located in the City Hall Council Chambers at 100 N. Court Street, Georgetown,
KY 40324.
The City of Georgetown, in collaboration with M2D Design Group, will be holding this second
public meeting for the purpose of fostering public comment on the streetscape master plan
concepts and the upcoming streetscape improvement project for the area of North and South
Broadway from Washington Street to College Street.
Individuals and Groups directly affected by the improvements as well as Interested Parties are
encouraged to attend this public forum.
This is a public meeting, however no city business will be conducted nor action taken. This event
is open to the public.

The December City Council meetings have been rescheduled. The meetings will now be held on December 1 and December 15. The meetings are still scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM. |

Voters, please read the following message from Secretary of State, Trey Grayson
YouTube and PBS have formed a partnership to launch an initiative called “Video Your Vote.” This initiative encourages voters,
particularly new voters, to document their voting experiences when they head to the polls this year. You can find out more about this
initiative by visiting http://www.youtube.com/videoyourvote
Although the partners of this initiative are well-intentioned, in Kentucky, state law forbids the use of recording equipment at the polls.
Let our office be the first to encourage your participation in this effort, but please do so once you have left the voting area.
Recording equipment intimidates voters and threatens the basic tenant of privacy in our elections. So, do your part to participate
in this exciting initiative, but do so within the confines of the law and away from the polling location.

| CITY OF GEORGETOWN GARBAGE COLLECTION SCHEDULE 2008 |  | Presidential Election Day: Tuesday, November 4, 2008 Your garbage will be picked up the following day: Wednesday, November 5, 2008.
| | | Veterans Day: November 11, 2008 Your garbage will be picked up the following day:Wednesday, November 12, 2008.
| | | Thanksgiving: Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th. Your garbage needs to be at the curb on Monday, December 1, 2008, until collected. They will pick up your garbage as soon as possible.
