| Job Description |
The City of Georgetown is currently accepting applications for the position of a Certified Police Officer or Police Officer {Trainee}. The City of Georgetown offers an outstanding benefits package plus incentive pay. |

| Qualifications |
Minimum Requirements:
1. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED.
2. Applicant must be at least 21 years of age.
3. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
4. Applicant must possess a valid drivers license and able to operate a motor vehicle.
5. Applicant must be a person of sobriety and integrity and have been an orderly and law abiding citizen
6. ***Applicants who are already certified must submit proof of the Kentucky Peace Officers Professional Standards {POP} per KRS 95.
Applicants must submit original/copies of the following documents with the application:
1. Birth certificate
2. High School diploma or GED Certificate
3. Kentucky Drivers License Oral Interview & Criminal Background Check will be Conducted. |
