The mission of the City of Georgetown Fire Department is to be the best trained and best equipped.  By doing this, we can prevent and minimize the loss of life and property of our citizens and fire service personnel.  Provide fire suppression, first responder Emergency Medical Services, prevention education, technical rescue, and to mitigate the hazardous consequences of natural and man-made disasters.  Provide non-emergency support services and to protect the environment and economic base of our community and showing that we care about the lives of others by conducting ourselves in a courteous and professional manner.
