G-Town Police get G-Ticketed!
Monday, 21 July 2008
Image

Lieutenant Robert Swanigan of the Georgetown Police Department received training on the G-Ticket system today. He will now handle the GPD Tickets directly and relay the ticket information to the correct officers.

Currently the G-Ticket system will only accept Traffic Enforcement related issues. Police Chief Greg Reeves and the Lieutenant both agreed that there should remain total anonymity when it comes to Tip-a-Cop and other related reporting tools found on their website.

G-Ticket Update
Thursday, 26 June 2008

G-Ticket BETA is the City of Georgetown's NEW! System to track and to respond to community complaints, requests and inquiries!

What does BETA mean?Image
  • Still under development or real-time development
  • Many features on the to-do list
  • Patience from staff and citizens
  • Think of it like a pilot for a TV Show, a trial run

We are please to announce that we have had several submissions into our G-Ticket system over the past week! Most of the tickets have fallen to the Public Works Department, which is currently Online. Other tickets have fallen to county departments or to other city departments that are not currently trained on the G-Ticket System. Please do not let this discourage you from submitting your G-Ticket. We take the responsibility to forward your request to the correct department and update your ticket until these other departments are brought online.

To see which departments are Online with the G-Ticket system, possible features to come, and more information click "Read More"
