Georgetown Stormwater Advisory Committee (GSWAC)

This ad-hoc committee will meet quarterly to review the implementation and success of the Clean Water Act Phase II water quality permit, submitted every five years to the Kentucky Division of Water and US EPA.  The Phase II permit is a program to educate and involve the public, implement water quality best management practices into new and existing development, and conduct daily operations in a responsible manner.

Our first permit was submitted in 2003 and is due for renewal.  Our second cycle permit is due in draft form to KYDOW at the end of Jan. 2008.  We’d like your input on the draft before it is submitted.  We will meet Monday December 17th 4pm at City Hall, 100 Court St. (the square).   The GSWAC will probably meet again mid-Jan. to review the changes made as a result of our meeting on the 17th and approve it to be submitted to Frankfort
