The Recycling Center moved from its first location off Main Street to the current location off Paris Pike. As with any recycling facility, the goals are to recycle then reuse materials that would otherwise be thrown away and end up in large landfills. Reducing the amount of undue waste in landfills is essential to help keeping the environment a clean, healthy, safe place to live. Do your part to keep the environment and your community clean, Recycle! The Georgetown Recycling Center accepts the following materials: - Newspapers

- Aluminum
- Appliances (Large and Small)
- Batteries (Car Batteries Accepted)
