Assists in the planning, organizing, direction, and coordinating of activities and programs of this
department and other City departments. Examples: downtown parades, festivals, other City building
maintenance, and emergency situations, throughout the City. Establishes and organizes routes for all
Sanitation trucks and the planning of waste removal and disposal from the streets, etc.

To provide customer friendly service, ensure public safety by responding to weather
related emergencies & other disasters.

- Garbage & Waste Removal
- Herbie Program - Distribution & Repair
- Sign Shop - Erection and Repair of Street Signs, painting curbs, etc.
- Vehicle Maintenance - Care and Maintenance (including preventive maintenance) of City vehicles, equipment and tools, etc.
- Downtown Clean Up & Assistance with Parades & Special Events
- Storm Drain Clean out, Maintenance & Repairs
- Critter Getters (Dead Animal Removal & Disposal)
- Mowing and Clean Up /Maintenance of All City Properties
- Street Sweeping
- Snow & Ice Removal
- Street Maintenance/Paving
