Patrol

The Uniformed Patrol Section is the backbone of the Georgetown Police Department and is the largest section within the department.

The safety and protection of Georgetown residents and guests is our highest priority.  The goal of the Patrol Section is to provide the highest professional services to all in keeping with the Georgetown Police Departments Anchors:

Mission - The Mission of the Georgetown Police Department is to provide the Community of Georgetown and those traveling within, a safe and secure environment through progressive, professional police services while maintaining cooperative relationships with all Law Enforcement Agencies.

Values - We are committed to: Preservation of human life, while maintaining the dignity and rights of all. Preserving the reputation and integrity of our Department through strong standards of ethical and moral conduct. The Uniformed Patrol Section works 24 hours a day 7 days a week and is broken down into three 10 hour shifts; day shift, evening shift and midnight shift. Within the patrol section are several specialized units which allow our department to provide even greater levels of service to our community:
